The Early Career Nurse Leader Award, which was created in 2021, recognizes emerging members who have already made significant contributions to the nursing profession by seeking opportunities to be challenged, taking risks, inspiring, and encouraging others, and leveraging early-career setbacks as a motivator to persevere. They have attained a high level of professional accomplishments through their involvement in and/or innovative approaches to research, policy, and/or practice at the local, regional, state, and/or national level.
